things i have amused myself with:
-mew: *blushes* well...i cannot REALLY say much about this one...i am pretty sure it was an excellent gig, but i managed to get so hideously, grotesquely drunk that i am unable to really remember much. apart from flashes of me stealing posters from nice 'n' sleazy's; swaying around alarmingly at the ABC; eating a curry sauce 'n' chips takeaway which i can still taste now; and waking up in the morning in jock's bed surrounded by half eaten bits of bread and cold pasta, discovering there was no toothpaste, and realising that i had to go and present a reasonable financial argument at the bank of scotland. charlie and jas: i do not know the extent to which my alcohol riddled self came across, but if i embarrassed you...many an apology. *note to self: eat more than a banana in the day you decide to consume a reasonable quantity of drink...and that decanting a bottle of wine into a diet coke bottle to 'pass the time' on the megabus is similarly unwise*
-arctic monkeys: black and white font cannot do justice to utter brilliance. occasionally a gig arises that matches your expectations but also delivers even more..the crowd; the music; the venue...ace-ness in its truest form. AND we were right at the front which led to me getting a set list. awesome. its sort of stained but...
-devendra banhart tomorrow with the lovely alice. apparently she is wishing to don a chav-esque outfit...which will completely compliment the ambiance of his performance. myself? methinks a tutu, braces, and tap dancing shoes are the order of the day-i do not like being upstaged. oui.
-WE HAVE A FLAT IN GLASGOW. courtesy of one, er, 'raj' *surname currently unknown; location: 'taste of punjab' restaurant* when i tried to delve more into the finer details of the deal - such as the LEASE - he pacified me with 'no, no...you no worry your pretty head about these things...you come on monday yes? with your boy (sam) and sign..yes? bye bye now.' hmm...fingers crossed hard on this one.
